Fan Favorite Jana Aston Books

When you read a Jana Aston romance novel, you’re in for a great time. She entertains the readers with charming characters, fun twists on beloved romantic tropes, and off-the-wall humor. While her reserved heroines are popular with readers, Aston’s storytelling really shines with the audacious heroines.

These characters usually have no filter and are the comic relief. The women (often introduced to readers as the best friend in the first book of a series) interfere in the main character’s life. They have the best intentions but they cause problems. They are sidekicks who make questionable choices and essentially create opportunities for the heroine.

Jana Aston then gives these women starring roles in their own sexy romantic comedies. Maybe the author does that to warn readers about the upcoming rollercoaster ride. The results are unforgettably hilarious.

In Good Time, Payton and Vince had one drunken night out in Vegas and wind up married. Payton admittedly makes poor choices and she’s trying to fix that by eavesdropping on life coaching sessions at her local coffee shop. But she knows deep in her soul that Vince is the one for her. She needs to find a way to make him fall in love with her before he serves the annulment papers.

Like many of Aston’s heroes, Vince is out of the heroine’s league in status, wealth and power. He’s dazzled by Payton’s humor and joyful attitude, but he thinks he’s too old and boring for her. Little does he know that Payton finds his stability and serious demeanor incredibly hot.

While the heroes are responsible and mature, the heroine knows she’s a lot of work. If she’s going to be in a relationship, she needs a man who can keep up with her. In Right, Everly is a driving force. If she’s not saying outrageous things or playing matchmaker, she’s plotting ways to get her brother’s best friend to notice her. But when her brother’s best friend’s brother decides to pursue her, Everly has met her match.

Sawyer loves the way Everly’s mind works. She’s rarely right when it comes to matters of the heart, and he’s not trying to control her. He simply wants her to direct all that energy and attention on him.

book cover for Plan B by Jana Aston

Once the heroes and heroines get together, it’s a crazy ride. For example, in Plan B, Daisy didn’t intend to get pregnant after a one-night stand. And she didn’t mean to announce she was engaged to the guy in front of his family. But when traditional methods of informing your one-night stand that he’s going to be a daddy continue to fail, you need to go with Plan B. What surprises Daisy is that Kyle has the ability to roll with whatever she does.

Daisy, the hot mess, and Kyle, the hot nerd, shouldn’t make sense as a couple, but they click. And, thanks to disastrous dating histories, they can’t quite trust their good luck in finding each other.
