Great books, Susanna! I love an amnesia story done well, but I didn’t write one until after my mom had a massive stroke that resulted in total amnesia (to the point of forgetting how to swallow). She forgot her kids, her past, her life, the rest of her family. Her husband (who does not do well in crisis had been a total jerk at the hospital) was the only one she remembered at first). The pain of losing her without really losing her had to go somewhere and for me that was a book. Thankfully, she eventually remembered everything, including physical pain the amnesia had wiped out. I would have been happier had she gotten to know us all over again and stayed pain free. ;-/

Congrats! The best that I can remember is that somehow for one of the months last year I read a couple books more than how many days there were in the month. Pretty good. . . haven’t repeated that yet though. LOL

Colleen, VALENTINE’S DAY would be a good movie to see on cable or DVD. It’s not a movie “event” like Avatar, which you would want to see in 3D.

I was more of a fantasy reader in school, then towards the end of high school turned to romance… been hooked ever since!
