Every once in a while I’m asked what book I would want on a deserted island. That’s a tough one to answer. It would be nice to take my Kindle but it would be useless once the battery dies. If I’m practical, I’d want something like an encyclopedia of edible plants or a survival guide for deserted islands. (However, if I was really practical, I would have read a book on how to prevent getting trapped on a deserted island.)
But what work of fiction would I take on a deserted island? What book would bring me hours of enjoyment and comfort? What book would I want to read repeatedly? My answer: Too Much Temptation by Lori Foster.

I’d take Tolkien’s LORD OF THE RINGS! I’d get lost in the magic and mystery of this other world series!
Elizabeth Hoyt’s The Raven Prince.
Too much Temptation is my favorite Lori Foster book too.
I would probably push the one book boundary and would try to pick a book which actually contains a couple of books, which Lori seems to have released fairly regularly.
I would probably pick The fugitive Pigeon by Donald E. Wastlake. I read it about 15 times one book poor summer when I was about 21 and I still laughed after reading it so many times.
I would have to say it is one of your books the year of living shamelessly followed closely by Ex, Why and Me
Love Charlotte
CAPTAIN JACK’S WOMAN by Stephanie Laurens, my all time favorite.
Well, while trying to think of one title, I think I would actually be inclined to say half of my TBR pile, so I would guarantee I would actually get to reading them… however, since that is not the question… oh, I know – my new (to me) 2 in 1 hardcover of High Energy and High Intensity by Dara Joy. Those are the only two by her I ever read, but can reread those a couple times a year – it’s not every day that you see a physicist in a romance.
Lois
Hmmm… one book that I love to read over & over again… Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley.
it would be hard for me to take just one book. I would want a big thick one so I would take The Outlander by Gabaldon-
I would take “The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes” by Bill Watterson.
I’m going to cheat & say the complete works of Charles Dickens.
If I was stuck on a deserted island I think I would want to read the Donavan Legacy (all 3 books in one BIG book)that would keep me busy until I was rescued.I love reading that book over and over.
Oh, I forgot to mention in my post the Donovan Legacy is by Nora Roberts.
So many, shakesheare novels
“Catch 22″ by Joseph Heller. It’s one of my favourites, and I can read it again and again and always find something new.
This is a hard question but maybe I would take Gone With The Wind.Or maybe a big book of jokes…something to make me laugh considering I was in a bit of a predicament being stranded on a deserted island.
