All Night Reads contest

You can always tell when I’m really enjoying a book. I’m curled up in my favorite chair, head bent, knees to chest. My glasses are off and my nose is almost touching the page. I’m unaware of my surroundings and my mug of tea is untouched and cold. I’m in that position way past midnight, but I never notice until I finish reading!

One book that had me in the curl position all night was The Man Who Could Not Love by Kate Hewitt. It’s an ugly duckling story and I adored Ana, the heroine. She’s strong, loyal, and considered “mannish” and “plain.” She secretly wants to be desired and wooed, but when Vittorio flirts with her, she’s hurt because she knows he doesn’t mean it. Vittorio keeps making mistakes and is really at a loss when he wants to propose a marriage of convenience. The Man Who Could Not Love is a fantastic read!

My son said I must read Jeffrey Archer’s ONLY TIME WILL TELL. I loved it. I practically read it in one sitting. The characters were fascinating. I can’t wait for the next.
