Imagine going on a wild adventure with a sexy daredevil. That’s what it’s like reading Caught on Camera by Meg Maguire. You immediately get sucked in by the author’s vibrant voice, fall in love with the characters and linger over the hot exhibitionist sex.
I enjoyed the adventure aspect of this story, but what I really loved was the relationship between Ty and Kate. The reader knows that these two should be together–and as soon as possible! It’s in every gesture, every word and every glance they share. The sexual tension is amazing, probably because you know how much these two care for each other.
Can you tell how much I adored this book? If you enjoy best friends-turned-lovers storyline, you have to read this!
Caught on Camera is about a survivalist TV show host and his assistant filming a reality TV show. Their relationship and their survival skills are tested when they are trapped in the snowy wilderness. Read an excerpt!

I asked Meg about her favorite reality TV show. She said:
My favorite reality TV show… Lordy me, where do I start? I have abysmal taste in television. So bad, in fact, I won’t let myself own a TV, because I don’t trust myself get any writing done with one around. But I find plenty of amazing crap to watch online. Top Model‘s probably my all-time favorite, and I love all the psychological documentary-style shows as well, like Hoarders and Addicted and Obsessed and Intervention. Obviously, I love survival shows—Les Stroud, host of Survivorman (and all around Canadian fox) is my official back-up husband. I also enjoy The First 48, Biggest Loser, Celebrity Rehab, Millionaire Matchmaker, Say Yes to the Dress, What Not to Wear, Top Chef, Project Runway. Need I go on? This afternoon I’m looking forward to pouring myself a very large glass of wine and catching up on the latest episode of The Bachelorette, once my writing and wifely duties are fulfilled. Very classy, I am.
Thanks, Meg! To find out more about Meg Maguire, visit her website, blog and Twitter.

My favorite reality TV show is Project Runway!
This sounds like a great book!
My guilty pleasure is Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I can’t help it! The show is addictive!!
Well, alas, I avoid reality shows, but does living with your tv on CNN (and the occasional channel change to the Weather Channel) count? I mean, you can’t get more reality than that… though, I sure wish not; I mean, can’t we stop with Weiner already!!???
Lois
I don’t like reality shows so much. I watch more series in case that I watch TV, which is rarely
Ray — I’ve watched a couple of Project Runway shows, but the one I’m cheering for never wins!
Chandni — I haven’t seen the Kardashian show, but they seem to be everywhere.
Lois — I am so with you. I don’t have a TV (watch my shows online) and I’m so sick of the Weiner story
Danny — Sometimes I tune into a reality show because it has an interesting premise, but the intense competition can really get to me. I like my scripted TV shows, but even they can drive me crazy.
First I have to say that I loved CAUGHT ON CAMERA!! I’m addicted to Meg’s amazing characters.
You know, I’m not a big fan of reality TV. I guess my favorite show would be CLEAN HOUSE. I love home makeovers.
Survivor is my favorite reality tv show.
Susanna,
I guess that is the reason why I prefer reading to watching TV.
The Biggest Loser
Hmmm…my fav that is tough. I enjoy Biggest Loser, Top Model, Top Chef, & Project Runway…
I started off on Survivor and Big Brother, now I like Top Chef and the hubs adores Swamp People on the History Channel. I love Modern Marvels as well.
This is now on my TBR list.
I like The Amazing Race and my cousin got me hooked on Basketball Wives on VH1.
Diana — I once saw an episode of Clean House and was so glad to see that people could be messier than me!
Crystal — It amazes me what those contestants will go through on Survivor. I get exhausted just watching it!
Anne and Colleen — I can’t get over how fast those people lose the weight on The Biggest Loser. Jillian Michaels is tough!
Bobbie — I haven’t heard of Swamp People so I just looked it up. Wow those alligators are scary.
Jane — my sister adores Amazing Race. She keeps telling me I need to watch it.
At the moment my favorite is I Love Jenni.
I love SURVIVOR. I think the host Jeff Probst has a lot to do with that.
My favorites are Top Chef and Top Chef: Just Desserts.
Leni — I haven’t seen I Love Jenni. I’ll need to take a look at that one.
Mary — Survivor wouldn’t be the same without Jeff Probst!
Mariee — I am impressed with the chefs on Top Chef. They can be so creative under pressure
Great post! Really like the sound of the book. my favs are Project Runway and Cupcake Wars.
Biggest Loser
