Contest guidelines and rules

Contests are sponsored by Susanna Carr solely for the enjoyment of her readers. Here is how the contests work:

You must include all pieces of information requested or your entry isn’t complete. Winners will be chosen at random from all correct and complete entries. Only one entry per person, please. Duplicate entries will overwrite previous entries.

When entering a contest on Susanna’s blog, simply leave a comment on the blog post as indicated. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of eligible entries received.

Contest entrants from any of the blog-based giveaways are not automatically subscribed to Susanna’s e-newsletter. All mailing addresses received are added to Susanna’s mailing list. If you wish to have your address removed from the list, e-mail Susanna with your request.

International entries are accepted. However, Susanna is not responsible for the prize if it can’t get through Customs.

Winners will be notified by e-mail within 30 days of the drawing. Winners then have 48 hours to confirm with Susanna or another winner will be selected.

All winner name listings will be first name, the initial of the last name, and city of residence only so as to protect the privacy of the winner.

Any prize or prize notification returned to Susanna as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Sorry, no cash equivalent.

Please note that while Susanna reads all your entries, she is unable to respond personally to them.

Neither Susanna nor her web team shall be held responsible for technical failures in entry transmission, or for any damage to participant’s computer occasioned by participation in this contest/promotion or downloading any information necessary to participate in the promotion.

Employees and contractors of any of Susanna’s contracted (at the time of the contest’s duration) publishers, agents, and/or hired contractors (web design, publicist, etc) and affiliated companies and members of those employees’/contractors’ immediate families are not eligible.
