When Chloe’s life publicly and suddenly falls apart, Max Hart swoops in. Chloe is a TV star and an important asset to Max’s empire. Chloe was betrayed and used by those closest to her and she wants to become independent. She is grateful for Max’s support, but everyone warns her to watch out because Max isn’t kind unless he has an ulterior motive.
This is mostly Chloe’s story. She goes from rock bottom to gaining the life she’s always wanted to lead. Max is the master player. He tries so hard to give Chloe control, but Max is protective. He always knew that Chloe was special, and it doesn’t take long for Chloe to be the most important part of his life.
