This weekend there were plenty of Halloween events for all ages in my town. It’s kind of strange seeing adult men walking around as zombies and mummies on a Saturday afternoon.
I think the most popular costume was the vampire. There were campy vampires. Scary vampires. Gross vampires. Yet not one sexy, bad boy vampire. I’m not a big fan of vampires, but if I had to get up close and personal with one, I would choose from the following three. Starting the countdown is:
3. Jason Patric as Sam in The Lost Boys
It’s been a few decades since I’ve seen this movie. Did Sam turn into a vampire or was he simply exhibiting symptoms? I can’t remember, and really, is it important? For me, the best part (and obviously the most memorable part) was the yummy Jason Patric.
2. Brad Pitt as Louis de Pointe du Lac in Interview with a Vampire
If I had to pick between Brad Pitt Vampire and Tom Cruise Vampire, there is no contest. Brad Pitt every time. I can’t decide if it’s the whole tortured with regret character or the hair. I hate to say it, but it might be the hair. I’m shallow that way. The fact that I have a Men to Do list might have been your first clue.
1. David Boreanaz as Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
A cursed vampire looking for redemption while fighting evil. Hero quality right there. Add David Boreanaz looks into the mix, and you’ve got the sexiest vampire I’ve ever seen.
Who do you think is the sexiest vampire in Hollywood or on TV?
David Boreanaz is definitely #1 on the hot vampire list. He truly creates the tall, dark and OMG handsome character. A close second would be James Marsters, who played Spike in Buffy. Maybe it’s the British accent.
