We won’t go into how many titles I pitched to my editor. I had a long list of sexy titles, another list of New Year-y ideas, several romantic titles, and even more desperate attempts of a title. At the end, I pitched some titles that had nothing to do with the book. That was how bad it was getting. Nothing worked. Just when I thought I was going to lose my mind, I called Jenna and asked for her help.
The Year of Living Shamelessly was the first thing out of her mouth. She didn’t have to think about it.
