I finally got around to watching the Twilight movie, and I’m feeling a little out of step with the rest of the world. While my friends and their daughters loved the movie, I thought it was kind of meh. It could be because I’m not in touch with my inner teenager. Or it could be that I’m still not into vampires.
I know, I know. Vampires are hot. Vampires are popular in contemporary and historical romances. Vampires are sexy, scary, funny, sad. It doesn’t matter the tone or the setting, vampires are everywhere except in my TBR pile. Why? Basically, I don’t see the attraction of dating someone undead.
But that’s just me. Obviously.
Well, you’re not the only one. LOL Not that I haven’t read one or two vampire books — since I already loved Teresa Mederios, I picked up her two vampire books a couple years ago. And when we had the Zebra traditional Regency monthly series, they had a vampire or two in there as well. But I don’t hunt for paranormals much beyond that. If it’s an author I already love, I might jump into their change of genres. But in the end, I vastly prefer more realistic stories. They might not have happened, but sure could have type of thing.

As for Twilight, for some reason I never wanted to see it, but after seeing the trailer for the next one… It has me curious now… I think I may want to see what it is all about.

I didn’t read or see the Twilight series. My daughter raved about both. I have several paranormals on my TBR pile …they just haven’t moved to my top pick yet.
