Welcome Friends!

She’s Got Legs…

I attended the Emerald City Writers Conference over the weekend. The book signing was Saturday and Eileen Cook was my table buddy. She is a hoot! I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun signing books.

Here we are during the event. (I swiped this pic from Christina Arbini’s blog. Visit her site for a fab recap of the conference.) Do you notice something about our book covers?

Yeah, it’s all about the shoes, isn’t it?

Even weirder, (I don’t know if that’s a word, but I use it all the time),  we have the same color scheme. Eileen’s book is called Unpredictable, and it’s about a woman who fakes psychic powers to get her ex-boyfriend back. My book, Red-Hot and Royal, is about three women who wouldn’t meet the requirements of fairy-tale princesses finding their princes.

And, yes, every woman needs stunning shoes when being a fake psychic or reeling in Prince Charming. Heck, a woman needs killer shoes when signing books. Okay, okay, my shoes were black Calvin Klein flats, but they were still stunning. Take my word for it.

Well, I’m of the opinion that every woman needs at least ONE pair of stunning shoes. This coming from a woman who lives in flip-flops and Crocs, but still… on those occasions that call for it, stunning shoes do make an outfit, don’t they?

Hi Susaana, Those are great covers besides the shoes when I seen them the song She’s got legs popped into my head, lol.
I was reading some of your past posts and I tried Pumpkin ice cream a couple of weeks ago and with whipping cream on top even better.

Abi, I’m usually walking around barefoot, but when the occasion calls for it, I’m willing to sacrifice my comfort for a stunning pair of heels!

Dena, that song is now in my head and I can’t get rid of it!

Pumpkin ice cream with whipping cream sounds sooo good. The other day I was at a party and tried pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t like them but everyone else raved about them.

Sorry about that but I’m glad so now we are a duet, lol. Have you ever tried Eggnog ice cream? It is sooo good too.

  6. Susanna Carr says:

Eggnog ice cream? I haven’t heard of that. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that one!

  7. Dena says:

We got it at Safeway, Ive tried eggnog shakes from Jack in the box but the ice cream is better
