Making my twin sister jealous

Years ago Jennifer, my twin sister, had a job where she met famous people all the time. We are talking royalty, world leaders, legends, icons, movie stars and minor celebrities.

And every time she met someone she would call me afterwards and brag in a way that only a sister could do to another.

It got quite annoying.

But this week I trump her. I met her most favorite author and I have photographic evidence! So whenever Jen sees another famous, beloved person and brags, I will whip out this photo of Sabrina Jeffries and me.

Eat you heart out, Jennifer!

But of course you still forgot to ask for a preview copy of her new book!

She is the queen of Regency Romance, and I am royally jealous (snicker) but I have still met the Queen of England… and Thailand… and I’ll stop since you will edit me anyway :p

Jen, you’ll have to come with me to the next RWA conference and get a chance to meet Sabrina Jeffries!

Jen, you met the Queen? Wow. I have only gotten within 20 feet of her. I did get within 10 feet of President Clinton when he was in office, though. I had two thoughts: 1) He is tall! and 2) I could cause an international incident right now if I wanted. Mu-ha-ha.

As for Sabrina Jeffries, the goddess — My daughter, then 10 months old, once chomped on her necklace. I have a photo…

Aw, Emily, you should have totally gone for the international incident. ;) But I admire your restraint!
