Which Heroine Are You?

Blog· For Readers

Which heroine are you?

I have read Harlequin Presents for years and I like more than one type of heroine. I eagerly follow the journeys of innocent virgins and seductive mistresses. I sympathize with the heroines who sacrifice everything to achieve their dreams and I cheer on the ones who bring the Alpha males to their knees. I like reading about the ordinary women I recognize from my world and the exotic princesses from faraway lands.

I created different kinds of heroines in my Harlequin Presents books. These women come from different circumstances but each one takes risks, makes mistakes and perseveres to get the life they want.

Which heroine is most like you? Take the quiz and find out!

1. You are searching for:

  • a) A haven
  • b) Beauty and love
  • c) Freedom

2. Your greatest mistake in love was:

  • a) Telling the truth while knowing it had the power to destroy
  • b) Making a choice that would hurt the man you love
  • c) Getting involved with the wrong man

3. Your favorite travel destination is:

  • a) A tropical paradise, preferably a private island of your own
  • b) The cosmopolitan cities of Italy
  • c) You can’t pick just one and want to travel around the world

4. People think you are:

  • a) Reckless and daring
  • b) Naïve and innocent
  • c) Trouble
A Deal with Benefits by Susanna Carr

If the majority of your question are A, then you have a lot in common with Ashley Jones in A Deal with Benefits. Ashley hid away on a private island after a family scandal but Sebastian has stolen her haven. To fight for a small part of her safe little world, Ashley gets a little reckless and doesn’t anticipate the consequences.

Her Shameful Secret by Susanna Carr

Were most of your answers B? You are a lot like Isabella Williams in Her Shameful Secret. Isabella goes to Italy to find beauty and love with the hopes of transforming into a sophisticated woman. Instead, she finds Antonio and dives into a passionate affair. She naively believes this love will last forever but she is too innocent for Antonio’s treacherous world.

The Tarnished Jewel of Jazaar by Susanna Carr

Was C your most common choice? You and Zoe Martin from The Tarnished Jewel of Jazaar have a few similarities. Everyone thinks Zoe is trouble, especially the man she is forced to marry. It’s a huge risk to marry Nadir because he might find out her secret, but this is her only chance to escape her brutal world and find freedom. Yet Zoe never thought she would fall for a man who is known as The Beast.

Secrets of a Bollywood Marriage by Susanna Carr

Were your answers a mix? Chances are you have a lot in common with Tina Sharma from Secrets of a Bollywood Marriage. Behind the glamorous façade as Bollywood’s Bad Girl, Tina’s life has been a struggle. She wants a fresh new start even if it means leaving the husband she loves.

What would happen to you in a romance novel? The answer will change based on what you’re wearing!
